Dyke Yaxley, a member of The Corporate Finance Network with two offices in Shropshire and one in the United States, alongside Aaron and Partners, has successfully advised Rockford IT, a provider of IT and security services on its sale to SysGroup for £3.9
Established in 2001, Rockford IT provides managed hosting services, a 24/7 IT service desk, IT security, connectivity services and disaster recovery solutions to around 200 UK customers including SMEs, councils, education organisations, professional services, and blue-chip customers.
Led by Dyke Yaxley Corporate Finance Director, Mark Bramall, the Dyke Yaxley team were engaged by the shareholders of Rockford IT to advise them throughout the entire sale process. Sarah Hartshorn and Pam Mason of Dyke Yaxley, who worked with Mark on the project, began by identifying and approaching a group of potential strategic buyers in conjunction with The Corporate Finance Network.
Aaron & Partners LLP , an independent law firm with offices in Chester, Shrewsbury and Manchester introduced Dyke Yaxley off the back of their links with The CFN to assist with searching for a buyer.
The eventual buyer SysGroup, had made five previous acquisitions in the previous three years before the acquisition of Rockford IT. SysGroup were identified early on in the process due to their acquisition history and strategic profile as a buyer.
