North Yorkshire-based accountancy firm Hunter Gee Holroyd (HGH), has advised the shareholders of a scientific research business on its refinancing as part of their business expansion strategy.The business, a provider of scientific research was seeking to move to a larger premises as the business outgrew its old facility. However, the business did not have the cash reserves to finance the move, therefore they went to HGH to explore their options to finance the relocation.
Mark Grewer, Director of Corporate Finance at HGH advised their client to meet with Bluestone Leasing, an award-winning asset finance firm (see BL range of finance related services here). Bluestone were able to provide a deal not possible from the bank. Bluestone refinanced their existing assets and was structured in a way that they could acquire new assets.
The outcome was the business was able to successfully relocate and can now continue its growth from its new premises.
