Kay Johnson Gee LLP (KJG), a member of The Corporate Finance Network based in Manchester has successfully advised the management team of AA projects on the buyout from its shareholders.AA Projects is a provider of construction consultancy services, headquartered in Manchester, with six more offices located throughout the UK including London, Leeds and Birmingham.
KJG were approached by AA Projects when the existing shareholders wanted to evaluate exit options. Steven Lindsay, Corporate Finance Partner at KJG, led the deal and began by exploring all available options for the vendors. It was decided that due to an experienced and ambitious management team, a management buy out was a viable option for the shareholders to take.
KJG advised on various aspects of the deal which was structured by Steven Lindsay and the KJG team. Funding was provided by HSBC.
The result was a successfully completed deal with the business being well setup for its next growth phase, under its new owner managers.
