The Shaw Gibbs team, led by Clifford Brown (pictured), confidentially marketed the business to a select group of potential strategic buyers.
Clifford Brown worked with the shareholders to identify the right partner for the business. The Shaw Gibbs team also gave ongoing advice throughout the process including managing negotiations and assisting all parties through to completion.
Lateral thinking identified mining companies as potential buyers, giving the miners the opportunity to increase their in-house company's research capacity and intellectual property in power train related metal markets.
