T230 - Ice Cream Production JV
An award winning Real Dairy Ice cream. Sales are currently focussed within the North of England but this footprint is expanding with an increasing amount of sales into national chains. The company as it currently exists operates both production and a retail/destination parlour. During a strategic review it became apparent that the owners main interest is in the retail/destination site rather than production and wholesale so they have decided to demerge the production/wholesale business forming a new production company. The owners are considering bringing a third party into the production/wholesale business to form a Joint Venture. The exact structure of the JV is open to discussion and the 'fit' of the parties being key. The current owner and Managing Director would be happy to continue in his current role or agree a more suitable structure. For further details contact Greg Bolton, greg.bolton@rubicon.org.uk
