North Yorkshire-based accountancy firm Hunter Gee Holroyd (HGH) has advised on the business sale of a bingo hall.
Led by Kelsey Butterfield, the HGH team provided full support and guidance throughout the process. This included the preparation of valuations, conducting detailed cashflow analysis, and managing all associated tax implications. HGH additionally oversaw the due diligence process, thus ensuring the client’s position was protected at every stage.
The assignment involved close collaboration with both the buyer and solicitors to maintain momentum and address any roadblocks or complexities arising during negotiations. HGH worked alongside WIll Newton from Newtons Solicitors, coordinating efforts to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction.
The successful outcome was a sale that met the client’s objectives, which enabled them to progress with their retirement plans, while ensuring the business would continue to operate under the governance of a larger corporation.
