Nicholsons, a member of The Corporate Finance Network based in Lincolnshire, supported a charity client to raise asset finance to fund a commercial kitchen fit-out, enabling the charity to launch a further income stream.

The charity identified an opportunity to generate additional revenue by offering food, but first needed to refit its kitchen to an acceptable standard using commercial fittings and equipment.

Richard Hallsworth, Managing Director, led the engagement on behalf of Nicholsons. He assisted the client in raising a sum of finance, so the fit-out could proceed. Richard introduced the lender, provided the documentation required to complete the credit application and underwriting process, and negotiated the terms of the facility.

By structuring and progressing the finance raise through application, underwriting, and final terms, Nicholsons helped the charity secure the funding needed to deliver the upgrade. They moved forward with its new income stream supporting the charity’s ability to further its charitable objectives within the community.
