Dyke Yaxley, a member firm of The Corporate Finance Network with offices in Shropshire as well as the US, has completed an independent company valuation for a client in the arboriculture sector.
The engagement was led by Andrew Young, Alan Jebb and Sarah Hartshorn, who completed a valuation of the whole company, including consideration of the split between the trading business and the land.
The valuation was undertaken to assist with a capital reduction demerger, enabling the land to be extracted from the trading business. The restructuring was carried out as part of the client’s preparations for future family succession planning.
