Kent-based McBrides, in partnership with DJH, a member of The Corporate Finance Network, has successfully advised on the sale of a business in the legal sector.
The deal was led by Mark Grady, who supported the client throughout the sales process and played a central role in achieving the desired outcome. McBrides assisted the client in assessing an offer from a third party, which was successfully renegotiated to secure improved commercial terms prior to agreeing heads of terms with the purchaser.
The team worked closely with the client’s solicitors, liaising on the commercial aspects of the legal documentation, while also providing tax advice throughout the transaction to ensure key considerations were properly addressed.
Following the completion, McBrides continued to support the client and assisted with preparing the completion accounts, helping to ensure that all post-completion requirements were met accurately. The transaction was completed with success, delivering a positive result for the client and a smooth conclusion to the sale process.
