Consilium Chartered Accountants, a member of The Corporate Finance Network, based in Glasgow, has advised DRG on their acquisition of two restaurants, Paesano and Sugo.

Consilium Chartered Accountants are delighted to have provided lead advisory and financial due diligence services to Di Maggio’s Restaurant Group (DRG) for the acquisition of Italian restaurants Paesano and Sugo.

The deal sees the Scottish hospitality group acquire two of Glasgow’s best Italian restaurants, Paesano and Sugo. Established in 2015 and 2019 respectively, they have become increasingly popular, serving nearly 22,000 customers weekly.

Continuing a long-standing relationship between Consilium Chartered Accountants and DRG, owners Mario Gizzi and Tony Conetta retained the services of advisor John Blair.

John Blair, Head of Corporate Finance at Consilium said: “As long-time advisors to Mario and Tony, bringing the Paesano and Sugo brands into the DRG family has been hugely satisfying. Everyone at Consilium Chartered Accountants is looking forward to supporting DRG as they continue to expand their portfolio of restaurants.”
