Consilium Chartered Accountants, a member of The Corporate Finance Network, based in Glasgow, has provided grants advisory services in support of their client, Travelnest’s application to the Scottish Enterprise R&D Grant fund.
The successful application was part of an equity-supported project to undertake research into new technology to enhance Travelnest’s existing SaaS offering and scale the business. The grant will generate new inward investment in Scotland and create a significant number of skilled jobs.
Travelnest is an Edinburgh-based technology firm helping vacation rental owners maximise their revenue. The technology consolidates vacation rental listings on over 30 global booking sites including Airbnb, Booking.com and TripAdvisor.
The full Research and Development grant of £2,000,000 was awarded in December 2024.
