LEES, a member of The Corporate Finance Network with offices in Norwich, London, and Hampshire has advised the shareholder of an Engineering business on its sale.
LEES corporate finance team was approached by their client who was considering retirement in the foreseeable future. For that reason, the LEES team was asked to assist with the sale of the trade and assets of the business. The LEES team, led by Martin Wilson managed the due diligence, liaised with the solicitors on the deal structure and asset purchase agreement, and also advised on the tax considerations around the sale.
The deal was completed successfully and enabled their client to retire.
