LEES, a member of The Corporate Finance Network with offices in Norwich, London, and Hampshire has advised the shareholders of a Musical Instruments retail business on their company sale.
LEES corporate finance team was approached by a successful and established business that had sought a purchaser. They received an offer from a larger trade business which strategically made sense to both acquirer and vendor. The LEES corporate finance team assisted the vendor with the negotiation of the share sale and worked closely with the legal advisors to complete a sale to a relatively tight deadline. The vendors also required tax advice surrounding the company sale to maximize proceeds.
The deal was led by LEES Corporate Finance specialist Chris Bidgood.
The transaction was completed successfully to secure the vendor’s smooth exits and the succession of the business. The vendors are now pursuing their next business venture.
