LEES, a member of The Corporate Finance Network with offices in Norwich, London, and Hampshire has advised the shareholders of a security systems business on their sale to a larger industry player.
The LEES Corporate Finance team was approached by the security systems company after they were approached directly by a company investigating the purchase of their company.
The project, led by Corporate Finance specialist Martin Wilson, assisted the client with the extensive due diligence process whilst providing constructive input into the deal structure and tax consequences for the vendors so that the transaction fulfilled their aspirations.
The deal allowed one director to retire from the business to pursue alternative interests whilst allowing another director to remain in the business post-completion.
