McBrides, a member of The Corporate Finance Network based in Kent and South East London, has advised the shareholders of a Chartered Surveyor Practice on its buy back of shares.
McBrides Corporate Finance Partner, Nigel Kimber, was approached by his client as they sought advice relating to buying back shares. The business owners had never gone through such a scenario so hired the services of the McBrides corporate finance team to provide advice.
Nigel and the McBrides Corporate Finance team advised the shareholders on a proposed structure and valuation of the transaction. They also sought and obtained clearance from HMRC for the transaction. Throughout the process, they liaised with solicitors on the buy back agreement and associated deal documentation.
The transaction was project managed by McBrides through to a successful completion.
