Croydon-based accountancy firm MDH, has advised the shareholders of a recruitment business on their acquisition of another business.
Michael Hemme, the Founder and Managing Director at MDH was approached by his client after they wanted assistance in identifying, valuing, and completing the acquisition of another recruitment firm. The MDH corporate finance team began by mapping and appraising acquisition targets across the desired target region. After creating a shortlist, the MDH team approached the target firms and for those that were interested, met with them to discuss the possibility of selling their business. The MDH team assisted his client on all valuation aspects to ensure they weren’t overpaying for the business. They also provided advice and support through to the legal completion of the acquisition.
Thanks to the proactive approach of the MDH Corporate Finance team, their client successfully completed the deal and now has a business plan to grow its turnover significantly in the next two years.
