Rubicon Corporate Finance (RCF), a member of The Corporate Finance Network, with offices in Durham and Richmond, has successfully advised the shareholders of a construction business on restructuring the company.
The target company was experiencing severe difficulties when Rubicon got involved and was in the process of entering a CVA.
Rubicon were originally asked to assist the IP in the process of the CVA. During this time, together with management, the Rubicon Corporate Finance team, led by Greg Bolton (pictured) and Peter Cartwright, put together a recovery plan to turn around the business. This involved a full review of operating procedures and ongoing strategic involvement in the business covering both financial and operational matters.
Since the restructuring, the business has recorded a healthy profit for the year. Gross profit margin has increased beyond levels previously achieved. The company now has positive cashflow and has maintained all payments to the CVA.
