MAP has raised £1.6m in CBILS loans for clients…so far

MAP, a provider of corporate finance and accountancy services based in Manchester has advised nine businesses in the creative and technology sectors to raise £1.6m in CBILS loans, with an average value of £175k per loan. 

Paul Barnes, Managing Director at MAP took the initiative to contact multiple clients after a thorough analysis of their existing cashflow and their debt showed that better payment terms were available under the CBILS.

Small businesses getting on top of future finances but need to plan to pay off debts to HMRC

Accountants have been increasingly successful in persuading SMEs to reforecast their financial performance in the second half of 2020, according to the year-end results of the ACCA and The Corporate Finance Network (The CFN) SME Recovery Tracker.

In early June, only 27% of smaller businesses said they had completed a reforecast of finances to take into account the effect of the global pandemic.
